Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher to support 4th and 5th grade students with mild to moderate
disabilities at an elementary school located in Arvada, CO. This
contract position runs from February 12, 2026, through May 21,
2026, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Candidates must be available to work on-site. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to meet the individual
needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities. - Develop and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with
district guidelines. - Collaborate with general education teachers,
specialists, and families to support student progress. - Monitor
and document student growth and adjust teaching strategies
accordingly. - Participate in team meetings and provide input on
academic and behavioral interventions. Qualifications and
Experience: - Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE)
special education certification. - Experience teaching
elementary-level students, specifically 4th and 5th grades. -
Demonstrated ability working with a caseload of students with mild
to moderate disabilities. - Strong communication skills and
team-oriented mindset. - Full-time availability and commitment to
on-site work. Location: Arvada, Colorado (Elemental School setting)
