Hiring Range: $25.66 - $28.52/hour Monday - Friday, various between
7:00am & 4:00pm Regular Full-time with Benefits - Fixed-Term

position anticipated to end 12/31/2024 Definition: Perform a wide
variety of tasks in providing highly responsible administrative
staff assistance, conducting specific and comprehensive analyses of
a wide range of municipal policies, organization, procedures,
financial services, and maintenance and analysis of
department/division data. Provide project support for the Customer
Information System and Advanced Metering Infrastructure projects.
This includes scheduling meetings for various divisions across the
City, managing deadlines of the multiple workstreams, updating
action items, documenting progress, organizing project
documentations, managing testing schedules, etc. Principal Duties:
Develop and maintain department activity, accounting, and
statistical tracking processes, spreadsheets, and databases.
Compile, analyze, and ensure accuracy of data. Work closely with
professional and management staff to assist in the interpretation
and analysis of data. Develop and implement processes related to
data management activities. Analyze data and prepare reports and
recommendations. Develop and modify databases and spreadsheets to
ensure proper tracking and maintenance of collected data.
Participate in the design and installation of new and revised
software programs and systems. Administer non-complex,
administrative-oriented department programs. Serve as point of
contact to the public and customers and resolve issues. Maintain
program data and prepare related reports. Assist in the tracking,
analysis, and presentation of financial and budgetary information.
Maintain and modify department databases. Prepare reports. Perform
special projects within department/division as assigned. Represent
the department and/or City in interdepartmental, interagency,
community, and professional meetings as required. Confer with
members of the public and the media to explain policies and
programs, respond to complaints and requests for information.
Performs essential duties and additional tasks in a manner which
enhances City Attributes. Working Environment: Work is generally
performed in standard office environment. Frequent use of technical
office equipment including personal computer, document preparation
equipment, telephone, and fax machines. May involve the ability to
move 15 -20 pounds, mobility through diverse work environments, and
frequent exposure to stress associated with varied, complex tasks.
May be required to work long or non-traditional hours to fulfill
organizational needs, projects, or special circumstances. Exposure
to frequent interruptions. Physical requirements include frequent
use of fingers, use of both hands, sitting, correctable vision,
hearing, speaking and writing; Mental requirements include frequent
reading of documents, use of confidentiality, problem solving,
detailed work, math, reasoning, verbal and written communication,
customer contact and multiple concurrent tasks. Driving of City
vehicles may be required. Qualifications: Any combination of
education and experience equivalent to an Associate's Degree from
an accredited college or university with major coursework in
business administration, public administration, social science, or
related field and at least two years of general administrative
experience preferably in a municipal government. Special
Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency desirable.
Valid Colorado Driver's License. Selection The selection process
