Bookkeeping firm specializing in bookkeeping, payroll, and individual and business tax preparation, seeking an experienced tax preparer. This is a remote/office hybrid position. Our office is located in Longmont, Colorado.Individual is responsible for preparation of individual and business tax returns along with bookkeeping duties for various clients, processing payroll, payroll taxes and reports, preparing monthly financial statements, year-end reviews. Individual will rely upon instructions from supervisor, and their own education and work experience.Responsibilities:-Prepare forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990 in Proseries-Resolve tax matters with the IRS and State-Prepare monthly financials such as P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements-Prepare year end reviews-Reconcile bank and credit card accounts in Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks online-Processing A/P and A/R for clients-Processing payroll and quarterly payroll reports-Prepare W2s and 1099s at year end-Work as part of a team on bigger projects to get them completed on timeSkills:-Excellent oral and written communication skills-Strong work ethic, professionalism, dependability, and integrity-Motivated worker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment-Detail OrientedQualifications:-3 plus years of experience with forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 990-2-3 years Quickbooks Desktop experience-Proficient with Excel-Associates or Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance preferred-Sales Tax experience preferred-EA or CPA Credentials preferred-Quickbooks Online Experience preferred-Payroll Preparation Experience preferred-Experience with Intuit Proseries preferredBenefits:Hybrid Remote Work AvailableRetirement PlanHealth, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid holidaysVacation TimeSick Time
