Job Description:The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring that charges are entered timely and accurately, ensuring that all necessary procedures are completed prior to invoicing, and statements are finalized, in accordance with contract.Job Responsibilities:-Interprets contract documents to insure billing is performed in compliance with all contract terms-Processes changes in information systems to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close-Facilitates and insures accurately and timely billing of services and fees to facility clients-Completes interim statement review to ensure charges are accurate-Participates in month-end closing and audits as necessary-Provides customer support via phone or electronic communicationsQualifications:-High School Diploma or GED -1-2 years of experience in Medical Billing, Customer Service, or Billing/Invoicing (not in healthcare)-Previous healthcare experience -Candidate's must possess the following behaviors: flexibility, decisiveness, tenacity, problem solving, detail oriented and verbal/written communication skills About Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
