About our group:The Electronics Supply Chain Team moves fast and
leverages key partnerships to drive technical innovation, high
quality standards and cost savings for electronics commodities. The
Technical Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving electronics
supply chain technology roadmaps aligned to Seagate's product
innovations, predicting trend dynamics and developing and executing
sourcing strategies that ensure supplier manufacturing capacity
supply and output quality that satisfies the growing materials
demand requirements. - The role is also responsible for NPI
supplier qualification, Failure Analysis and Reliability.About the
role - you will:Works cross functionally to develop the Commodity
strategy for the Electronic components under his/her responsibility
balancing business needs with technical and quality
requirements.Leads execution of the commodity strategy, working
both internally and externally with suppliersRecognized subject
matter expert for the electronic commodities under his/her. Scope
of expertise extends to technology, market dynamics and price
trendsPrimary techincal and business contact with the component
suppliersDevelops and maintains deep relationships with executive
management at the component suppliers.Negotiates pc part pricing
and legal contracts.Develop supplier technical process improvement
plans to drive positive gain cost, quality, reduced qualification,
and time to deployment.Drive global supplier product technology
roadmap alignment.Be able to articulate commodity sourcing
strategies to senior leaders and stakeholdersMaintain current
knowledge of the technology and industry trends for the assigned
commodities and perform competitive analysis on relevant
products.Your experience includes: -Relevant work experience with
sourcing/supplier technology and quality management in high tech
electronics / computing / communications fields. -Experience in
Component Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality &/or Technical
Sourcing.Strong electronics market intelligence, technology trend
sensitivity and business acumen.Strong negotiation skills and
passion for electronics technology and components.Location:Our

you of the estimated base salary range for this position is:
$103,800 to $154,000. Actual salary range is based on fair market
value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the
requirements of the job and your skills. -This posted salary range
is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the
right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the
